Software that has been designed to safeguard the interests of everybody who participates in sport.

Children and adults involved in sport should always be protected from harm. There is a statutory duty to be alert to any potential risks and to have adequate systems in place if things go wrong. This places an obligation on those in charge.

 

To help professionals and volunteers in all sports, Globocol has designed a bespoke software application for those who have a duty of care. It is designed for:

  • organisation leaders and safeguarding officers in

  • sports clubs and national governing bodies.

Application Description

A bespoke solution for sport. A single platform of record for reporting incidents, managing cases, reducing risk and mitigating harm.

Globocol’s Safeguarding Software for Sport was originally designed in workshops which were held with the Lead Safeguarding Officers of a group of diverse UK sport NGB's. It enables you to

  • report incidents and concerns

  • address risks to individuals

  • manage compliance for your organisation

You can record and carry out a full investigation of breaches in safeguarding standards and document referrals to external agencies such as LADO or the police. 

​

At every stage in the process there are automated workflows, with programmed email notifications to prompt future actions and respond to deadlines. You can manage investigations through to appeal and case closure.

We are committed to high standards of security, privacy and transparency. Globocol systems are fully GDPR compliant. We have also reviewed our suppliers for compliance with GDPR.

  • The application uses dual-factor authentication at login and tracks relevant staff safeguarding credentials.

  • System data has multiple levels of back-up. You can also apply “soft-delete” functionality to recover unwanted deletions.

  • For UK clients, data is hosted at our nominated UK Data Centre with a UK helpdesk.

  • For non-UK clients, if UK hosting and help desk services don’t meet specific national, legal or organisational requirements, Globocol will arrange a bespoke service to cater for that.​

Globocol is ISO 27001:2022 certified. This is the world's best-known standard for information security management systems (ISMS). Security specialists CRK Consulting Limited act as independent advisors on best practice to ensure our ongoing compliance with data protection legislation and to keep us alert about possible information security threats.

Placing all your reports and case documents in a single secure environment considerably reduces the risks to data privacy inherent with the use of multiple systems and devices, both online and offline.
